Lira is a mermaid, watching from a bank of seaweed.
Printed on watercolor paper using archival inks. Each print is enhanced after printing with peralescent acrylic inks. As each print is embellished by hand, each will be unique.
It is very difficult to capture the luminous effect of the pearlescent inks in a photo. They are only visible in certain lights, causing the print to look different depending on the light source. The top image is most true, the other images are somewhat more blue in order to capture the effect of light on the ink.
